THE CHALLENGE:
In 2020, the founder noticed that his deodorant caused skin reactions due to baking soda. They spent three years developing a new formula to solve this issue and decided to rebrand to Rubb.
The challenge was to retain the loyal community of "Balms etc." while introducing and explaining that Rubb is a superior, improved version.
We needed to communicate the benefits of the new irritation-free formula and reassure existing customers of the enhanced quality and effectiveness.





OUR VISION:
Our goal was to create a brand identity that highlighted Rubb's commitment to providing irritation-free products while maintaining the trust and loyalty of "Balms etc." customers.
The new name, "Rubb," had to signify simplicity, evoke a personal touch, and underscore the brand's mission to provide soothing and effective deodorants.


THE IMPACT:
The Rubb deodorant project demonstrated the impact of strategic rebranding.
By capturing the essence of Rubb's mission and values, we created a brand identity that resonated with customers, retained the existing community, and set the stage for the brand's growth and success.
